UI/UX designer

Documill is a Finnish SaaS provider which provides document-centric online solutions for enterprise users around the world. We are one of the largest Nordic ISVs focused on serving Salesforce users.

To further facilitate our growth, we are looking for a UI/UX designer who  enjoys versatility in their tasks. While the primary focus lies on developing the UI/UX of our B2B SaaS solutions, this position is perfect for someone who would like to explore all aspects of online solution design.

In this role you will spend most of your time defining, implementing, fine-tuning, and testing the UI/UX of our SaaS solutions with the latest web technologies. In addition, you will contribute creatively to our marketing activities by creating graphics for presentations, brochures, and online materials.

We expect you to contribute your ideas through all phases from idea to design and development, guided by an excellent eye for visual design in the context of interfaces and online solution design.

The role

As part of our tight-knit team you will:

  • Work with developers and product leadership to make sure our SaaS solutions are designed with the end-user in mind across the devices they use.
  • Work with marketing to create graphics in which our company’s visual identity is communicated through sales presentations, demos, and online marketing channels.
  • Drive continuous improvement of usability for our online solutions.
  • Be an authority on our visual presentation and product usability.
  • Work with marketing to maintain company’s website.

The perfect candidate

As a UX/UI designer, we expect you to be creative and have strong design skills. We also greatly value an individual who is willing to learn:

  • Have an excellent understanding of what makes a great usability experience.
  • Be capable of both UX (wireframes, prototypes) and Visual Design (graphics, CSS) across device types and an ability to conduct usability testing of designs with stakeholders and users.
  • Be capable of going through UX design process; from ideation, preparing wireframes and prototypes, to conducting usability testing with stakeholders and users.
  • Be comfortable presenting abstract concepts visually through diagrams, flows and journeys.
  • Be capable of visual design such as defining and maintaining visual brand across products and places, preparing visual assets, and understand responsive UI.
  • Be proficient in latest design and prototyping tools like Figma, Canva, and Adobe Design Suite.
  • Be capable of or curious to learn implementing UI/UX design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Fluent in English language, mastering both written and verbal communication.
  • Our office is in Espoo, Finland – so you must live in Finland, and have a valid Finnish work permit.
